1. Dog Mushing
If you have your very own group of sled dogs, then dog mushing is a must-do at the Denali National Park. While it is recommended to follow mushing paths created by the park rangers, you could always make your own trails for a more adventure-filled experience. If you wish to camp for the night along with your sled dogs, you must get a backcountry camping permit from the Learning Center, which is open from 9 AM to 4 PM every day.
2. Flightseeing
If you want to get past the usual camping and bus tours at the Denali National Park, then a flightseeing tour is a recommended activity. As the name denotes, you are allowed to tour the park from above while riding a helicopter or a fixed-wing plane. Just make sure to choose from fly-over tour companies that could present legit permits. They generally include Telkeetna Air Taxi, fly Denali, K2 Aviation and Hudson Air Service.
